I graduated from Valparaiso University and enjoyed a career int the food industry in Sales, Operations and as a owner. Retired from national sales of "dead animals" (proteins) to Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Disney World, Disney Cruise Lines, Marriott, Outback, Sonic Drive Ins, Hardees, and others. Enjoying a golf wonderland, The Villages, Florida; 567 holes of quality golf.

School Story:

Flunking the PAA test administered by Dave McFadzean and Bryan Sullivan, and missing most of "Beach Blanket Bingo" with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello at the Varsity in Evanston, all in one night. I still have not been able to find "Micrin Vodka" provided by "Sully".

I think of John Allison every 10-12 years when I need the crown on my front tooth replaced. John, I hope your elbow has held up over the years after its collision with my mouth in basketball practice. Dentists around the country are grateful.

Favorite Glenbrook South Teacher and Why:

Curtis Crotty really pounded in the English grammar.

Darrell Lund fixed me up with a date for the Christmas formal at the Orrington.

Best High School memory:

Making a buzzer beater at Morton West from 3/4 court that caught the net, went through the basket a second time, remained stuck in the rim, the Morton West crowd giving me a standing O, not hearing one word of Coach Ernie Kumerow's game analysis, and the Morton West janitors coming into the locker room trying to collect from me for the ripped net. We lost by 15 points.

Holding the shuttle run record for all 3 years, timed by Dixie Walker, 8.5 seconds senior year.

Where have you traveled outside of US?

Yugoslavia, Hungary, Austria, Lichtenstein, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Canada

What would we be surprised to know about you?

I was in the home of Jack Nicklaus for a Christmas party and left with some souvenirs. SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

What did you always want to do but haven't done yet?

Become proficient at yoga.
Surprise Greg D'Ambrosio like he did to me several years ago.

I am pleased to share a memory of Ken Buzzard. He and I shared a tent together at Boy Scout camp Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan. We had a great adventure there on a 2 day canoe trip with steady unending rain in the days of cotton sleeping bags, we won the best camp award and we wondered why Dave Alamshah was not dead after a number 10 can of water hoisted up the flagpole and released hit Dave solid on the head and he was unphased. Ken was the most pleasant fellow.
